I’ve been having a bad day.

It’s not because my boss is driving me crazy - though he’s always a likely culprit - and it’s not just because the writer’s block I’ve been trying to shake all month still hasn’t lifted.  Those things are annoying, but they don’t have quite the same day-ruining effect as the reminder I received last night that I am fundamentally too disgusting to subject people to.

Now, I know that’s not what Fox was probably trying to say.  I’m sure they used more neutral terms than that - they’re obnoxious and a lot of the people employed by their parent company are pretty right-wing, but even they know better than to say it out loud.  But the message got through loud and clear to anyone who watched Glee last night:
